Chemical Angel Network

The Chemical Angel Network (CaN) is the first of a new breed of virtual angel network with a mission-based investment strategy. This US-based network focuses on the US for both investor members and deal flow, but limits investment targets to those with a chemical sector focus, specifically companies that have a chemistry component enabling their products or services. CaN provides accredited angel investors with a venue to source early-stage investment opportunities and collaboratively vet the business proposition. CaN members often assist motivated entrepreneurs with trusted information, resources, and mentorship.

CaN offers Imagine Chemistry a channel to reach out to US-based startups, via a webinar or through social media.

ChemieLink helps innovative entrepreneurs in the chemical sector find locations with appropriate facilities and equipment. At the moment, the Netherlands has fourteen recognized locations where innovative chemical startup businesses (iLABs) and growing businesses (COCi’s) can establish themselves. These physical hotspots for new business have been approved of and certified by the Topteam Chemie. They are interconnected and together form the iLAB.COCi network, which shares knowledge and exchanges best practices. This network operates under the name ChemieLink.

ChemieLink helps us to reach out to the Dutch startups that could benefit from participating in this challenge.
